INTRODUCTION
Bayford House is the main house on the same lot as the Lincoln Construction guest suite cottage renovation (Bayford Cottage). Bayford House is a perfect example of taking an unfinished, underutilized space and elevating it, giving it purpose and adding to the overall square footage of your home. Previously used as storage, this space was transformed into additional living/entertaining space and sleeping quarters, taking the home from a 2bed/2 bath, to a 3bed/3bath.
INSIGHT
The basement had an unfinished, dated feel to the space. Without proper flooring and with the open ceiling it wasn’t a space that anyone wanted to spend any time in.
Lincoln Construction finished the ceiling and installed high quality faux drop beams
We renovated the basement with updated electrical and plumbing systems throughout.
A modern bathroom was fitted by our team.
Given the property's waterfront location, we added an outdoor shower for convenience.
Decorative wainscoting was introduced to bring some texture and style into the space
Installation of additional decorative elements such bifold closet doors and barn doors were added to bring character into the basement
